The Process.
We have provided an in-depth insight into how we get you from you first inquiry to swimming in your new pool.
INFORMATION WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
Pool Address
Preferred pool size and placement
Water Sanitising preference (mineral/chlorine/Freshwater)
What is your heating (28 degrees) preference (no heating, 7 months, 9 months)
Have architectural plans been completed for the project?
Has a geotechnical report been prepared for the specific pool site?
What is the budget range for the project?
Do you have any inspiration photos to help us visualise the finished project?
FEASIBILITY CHECK
We will perform a quick search on your property to ensure a prefabricated concrete pool can be installed. We look at the distance from the road to the pool location, possible crane obstructions or anything else that may prevent an installation from going ahead or exceeding your budget.
SITE VISIT
If the site is within the greater Sydney area, one of the Made Pools team will organise a site visit. We ask that you be present for this consultation. If you are outside of the greater Sydney area we will arrange a face-to-face online meeting to discuss your options.
Made Pools will provide a basic estimate for installation, including excavation, crane, and concrete, which will be subject to revision once plans are received and our contractors have reviewed the project.
SITE FEASIBILITY AND GEOTECHNICAL REPORT
Site Feasibility Planning Documents
We want to ensure that your pool is legally and financially viable to build. We ask all of customers to provide the following current documentation. If you would prefer us to obtain these for you, we can help. Our pricing for each document is listed next to the item.
o Design & Site Feasibility Advice- Provided by building designer/architect
o Title Search
o Section 10.7 (2) Certificate
o Sewer Diagram
o Deposited Plan
Crane assessment
Made pools will organise a crane assessment for the site. This will require a visit by or crane representative to assess the lift and traffic control requirements for the project. We will receive a formal crane quotation at this point.
Geotechnical report
A Geotechnical report is a survey on what is below the ground at the site of the pool, and we ask that you obtain one from a Geotechnical engineer of your choice. This report will help us to determine what subbase preparation will be needed for your pool. We will help with anything you need to ensure this is an easy process.

ARCHITECTURAL PLANS
You can now have your project drawn up for submission to council or to a certifier if your project qualifies for CDC approval. If you do not have a building designer or architect, we can offer you this service through a third party designer that we work closely with.
QUOTATION
We now have plans, crane cost, excavation cost and your final pool selections can be made and we can provide you with a formal quotation for your review. Once the quote is approved a contract and deposit invoice will be issued. We will sign a SPASA contract for the installation and HBCF insurance will be issued for the project.
